Certified ADHD & Executive Functions Life Coach

My Journey to Coaching

After earning my Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, I worked there as a clinical fellow, and also earned my LLM.  I worked in Latin America, partnering with organizations like USAID and the World Bank to promote human rights, democracy, and justice reform.  These experiences shaped my deep commitment to helping individuals create meaningful, aligned changes in their lives. Whether through advocacy, teaching, or coaching, my work has always centered on empowering others to live with clarity, purpose, and heart.

When I returned to the United States to focus on raising my sons, I never imagined that a chance encounter at their elementary school would spark a completely new professional path.  One day, the school counselor casually mentioned that I would make a great executive function coach.  Although she may not remember the conversation, her words changed my life.

I began researching, studying, and training in coaching, earning certifications along the way and deepening my understanding of neuro-informed coaching.  This journey allowed me to realign my work with my values, while also providing the flexibility to be there for my family.

Today, I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) PCC certified life coach with over 17 years of experience, specializing in ADHD and Executive Function coaching.  My coaching training was through Co-Active Coaching, where I earned my CPCC certification and completed their intensive, year-long Leadership Training program.  I also received specialized ADHD/Executive Function training from JST Coaching and Training.  For seven years, I worked with JST Training as a coaching trainer and had the pleasure of co-designing their Coaching Neurodivergent Learners course.

I have the privilege of partnering with individuals to uncover their strengths, elevate their skills, and develop the self-awareness they need to thrive.

Who Am I as a Coach?

The best way to understand my coaching style is through the experiences of my clients.  I invite you to visit the Success Stories page to read about how we’ve partnered together to create lasting change.

My Coaching Approach

I partner with my clients to explore life with curiosity, purpose, and a deep belief in their inner resourcefulness.

My approach is strengths-based, neuro-informed, and client-centered:

Strengths-Based:
We focus on uncovering and amplifying natural strengths.  Real, lasting change doesn’t come from “fixing” what’s wrong, but from building on what’s already strong, capable, and unique about each individual.  From that place, we can work on areas that impact their progress.  Helping others learn, grow, and discover their strengths remains at the heart of what I do.

Neuro-Informed:
I understand that there are neurodiverse differences, and I work with my clients to understand how their brains naturally operate, whether that’s related to attention, memory, motivation, or emotional regulation. Together, we customize strategies that align with cognitive strengths, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model.

Client-Centered:
I meet individuals exactly where they are, believing that everyone is creative, capable, and the ultimate expert on their own life.

At the heart of my coaching is a simple belief:
Differences are not deficits.
There’s no single "right" way to think, learn, or engage with the world. I celebrate these differences, recognizing them as powerful strengths, not obstacles to overcome.

Why I Love This Work

As you’ve read, I didn’t follow the typical path after earning my law degree.  I believe that success isn’t about fitting into someone else’s mold, it’s about creating a life that reflects your unique gifts, strengths, and vision.

For me, coaching isn’t just about setting goals or solving problems.  It’s about helping people reconnect with their purpose, build self-trust, and create lives that are both successful and soul-nourishing.

Watching someone step into their potential, knowing they’re doing it on their own terms, is one of the greatest honors of my life.  I’m deeply grateful to walk alongside my clients as they clarify their goals, strengthen their self-awareness, and create lives of authentic meaning and fulfillment.
